For breakfast and/or snack, berries are amazing. They do not raise your blood sugars like other fruits do.

I really like to get my greens in by disguising them in berry flavor. So yummy and so great for you!

Blueberry Green Smoothie

Cup of blueberries (I get the huge bag of organic frozen blueberries at Costco)
1 cup of greens (I freeze power greens in individual servings from Costco)
Protein powder (I like Vega plant protein, berry)
Chia seeds
1/2 banana
Liquid to cover all ingredients (about 1 part water to 2 parts unsweetened almond milk)

Blend that puppy! I use a ninja personal size blender.
